Bristol-based international legal practice Osborne Clarke has retained all its spring qualifiers, with the six trainees staying on as newly-qualified solicitors.

They will be based across the firm’s three UK offices in Bristol, London and Reading.

It is the third strong retention rate result in a row for Osborne Clarke. Last autumn the firm kept on 92% of its qualifying trainees and also retained all seven qualifiers in the spring of 2016.

The six include Charlotte Guest, pictured right, who will now work with the Bristol real estate team, and Peter Barratt, pictured below, who joins the commercial department in Bristol.

Osborne Clarke partner and training principal Catherine Wolfenden said: “Our award-winning trainee programme ensures each trainee is given the guidance they need to succeed. We constantly get feedback from our trainees that they feel supported by colleagues and partners, but equally they are given responsibility to manage matters.”

UK managing partner Ray Berg added: “Congratulations to our spring qualifiers. It’s great that all our trainees will be staying on. We place a huge emphasis on supporting our people, especially those just starting out, because we know how important it is to have a solid platform to build their careers.”
